Perio•Aid Intensive Care Mundspülung, 500 ml

Indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases.

It is intended for disinfection prior to or following surgical procedures in the oral cavity (tooth extractions, implant surgery, etc.). And also for people who are at risk of tooth decay or are unable to properly brush.

Suitable for people with coeliac disease.

• How to use:

Rinse with 15 ml, twice daily (morning and night) for 30 seconds, after brushing.

When used in oral irrigators, dilute using a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio (water:mouthwash).

0.12% Chlorhexidine + 0.05% CPC

Helps TREAT periodontal and/or peri-implant disease, as it is able to remove the pathogenic biofilm that causes these diseases.

Statistically significant differences  in the reduction of bacteria with  0.12% CHX +  0.05% CPC vs

a formula containing  0.12% CHX and  0.12% CHX + NaF. (p <0.001)

Antimicrobial efficacy equivalent to 0.20% chlorhexidine2 

% Dead bacteria

0.12% CHX + 0.05% CPC vs  0.20% CHX: no statistically significant differences observed 0.12% CHX + 0.05% CPC vs 
 0.20% CHX + ADS: statistically significant differences observed (p< 0.05) 

Do not swallow.

It is advisable not to rinse with water or eat immediately after using Perio·Aid Treatment mouthwash, as this could enhance its bitter taste.
